My two-year-old nephew is absolutely obsessed with anything that has wheels, gears or engines. He loves all things John Deere, backhoes and tractors, which made the purchase of this ArtCreativity Bubble Lawn Mower a no-brainer. As little ones start using their legs, a whole world opens up to them. For around $20 and a whopping 45% off at Amazon, this toy facilitates exploration by providing the support of a walker in a form that infants and toddlers may have seen before around the yard or on TV. As should be the case with every toy, this Bubble Lawn Mower is awesome because there’s almost no assembly required. Just take the mower base and handle out of the box, attach them and you’re ready for endless hours of outdoor enjoyment.
Once the essential pieces are put together, pour some of the included bubble solution into the front well and press the large on/off button below the handle.

When you do, the bubble motor spins, and a flood of bubbles flies from the surface of the mower. While the noise of the motor isn’t quite loud, it may initially surprise young kids who aren’t used to hearing it. Once they've overcome that tiny potential hurdle, they’ll love seeing the bubbles zoom out as they walk.

At a height of 18 inches, the Bubble Lawn Mower is best used with children ages 3 to 6, but my nephew has been enjoying this toy since his first birthday without issue. In fact, I’ve given the Bubble Lawn Mower as a gift to two other kids on their first birthday, and they love it, too.

Even though my nephew begs us to pack his Bubble Lawn Mower almost everywhere he goes, the product does have a few shortcomings worth mentioning. For one, the chassis is so light it can spill easily, so you may end up having to refill bubbles a lot.
I love that my nephew is able to lift and pull the mower any way he wants—sometimes he even prefers to drag it behind him now that he’s more secure on his feet. However, this maneuverability comes at the cost of the bubble function. Because the spills are so frequent, we only put the bubbles in sporadically.
That said, your child might wind up using this mower as a snazzy take on a standard walker more often than anything else. It should also be noted that the Bubble Lawn Mower does not come with the AA batteries required to power the device either.
If you can look past those minor inconveniences, the ArtCreativity Bubble Lawn Mower is an awesome gift for any toddler. Sold in both green and pink, buyers can pick a style that best suits their needs.
