A couple's rather unusual personalized jewelry request has gone viral for all the wrong reasons thanks to the intimate materials used to create the statement pieces.

Amanda Booth, a jeweler and clay artist based in Canada, has nearly 350,000 followers on TikTok, where she gives a behind-the-scenes at how she creates her unusual designs.

The content creator specializes in incorporating 'sentimental materials' into her jewelry, including dried breast milk and semen. She takes requests on her website, Trinkets by Amanda Booth.

Booth horrified fans after revealing she was recently tasked with making an unnamed couple rings featuring their pubic hair.

The footage shows her working on the one-of-a-kind pieces without gloves, their black and gray hair sitting in a pile on top of her workspace

'I had some amazing clients give me a challenge with something new. They each sent me each other's pubic hair,' she says at the start of the video.

The footage shows her working on the one-of-a-kind pieces without gloves, their black and gray hair sitting in a pile on top of her workspace.

'I am setting the hairs into these beautiful rings,' she explains as she uses a toothpick to put each hair in place.

Booth says she consulted with the couple about their color choices because she 'wanted the hairs to be able to stand out.'

They ultimately agreed on 'dark blue for the center' of the rings.

'I don't normally work with settings, but if clients have settings that they want to use, then I can totally do that,' she notes while showing off the finished product.

The blue clay rings are topped with the pubic hair and encased in silver.

The footage then cuts to a necklace, matching earrings, and a 'c***y bear' keychain made out of a semen sample that the couple also sent in.

Many people were stunned by the material used to make the custom rings.

'Not me gasping as soon as you said what it was,' one person replied.

'EXCUSE ME?' someone else asked.

'My face dropped,' another user added.

Others couldn't figure out how the couple came up with the idea in the first place.

'People have lost the plot because how do you think of this??' one curious commenter wrote.

'Now I'll be looking at everyone's rings wondering "is that custom?"' another joked.

'To each their own,' someone else added.
