Our Driver Power car customer satisfaction survey is a great complement to our expert electric car home charger product test and may help you understand what can be a confusing marketplace.

This year Easee topped the table, followed by Hypervolt and zappi. Easee lived up to its brand name by clinching the ease of use category, but it also came out on top for satisfaction across a range of categories, including installation, reliability and how well made the unit is. Runner-up Hypervolt won the style category, and also came top for satisfaction with charging speed, but a ninth place for ease of use spoiled its chances of an overall win. It only managed fifth for its smartphone app too. Third-placed zappi topped the table for customer service, and came second in the build quality category, and in the smartphone app ratings.

At the bottom of the table is BP Pulse/Chargemaster, with a set of scores that reflect a decision in May this year to withdraw from the retail home charger market, and close its app.
